The BBC and all such TV broadcast platforms make most of their money from murder. Rarely will a hit drama not be about it. Line of Duty etc.

Why?

Because we love to watch them. David Tennant just got a lot of plaudits from his Dennis Nilson one and Martin Clunes starred in one about that taxi driver who hammered girls to death

It's still fresh in people's heads , it adds another level of raw insensitivity to the whole thing aswell . As mentioned it's been what only 10 years ? since it was revealed what a disturbed creep Savile really was .

Maybe they should have waited longer , and then made sure the victims and people involved were ok with it ? . But as i said is it even necessary to make a drama .

However distasteful it might be....people will watch it. Just like we watch dramas about serial killers...where often children are involved.

The BBC make dramas about the murders of fictional people in Line of Duty so that makes dramatisations of the real life abuse of real children ok?
