Covid was a disease that people didn't know how deadly it was initially, of course Football needed to be postponed for that.

Football nor any other event needs to be postponed because the Queen has died, as I've said on another thread we didn't get this when Margaret Thatcher died who was our PM fgs at one point.

I personally feel sad that the Queen has died, and I do appreciate what she did for the country, but I also can see that it's not right for any form of escapism to be taken away from people, that's just common sense.

So basically you don't like Football so are okay with censorship, I'll keep that in mind if something that you like gets taken off for this.

And I don't get what generalization you're throwing around about Football fans, but I lead a reasonably normal life, hence why I'm arguing for people's freedom to be able to watch what they want, including the news covering the Queen.

It's all about choice, Football, the Queen's death, EastEnders, you name it, it should be available to watch.

I think rather than following protocol they should judge the mood of the nation, after two years of being locked down and businesses struggling there really is no need to shut everything down

Tbf I honestly don't even hate the Royals (apart from Andrew) I just don't support people's options for escapism being taken away from them.

It's because he doesn't like Football (which is fair enough) but I'd be interested to know if he was okay with it if something he liked was being taken off air over all of this.
