I was just being facetious/sarcastic when I said it was probably for China ... But I honestly wouldn't be surprised.
Disney acts like they're being "LGBT allies" by including gay couples in some background shots you can see if you squint, only to remove them for China. They self-felaciated over hiring John Boyega in Star Wars, only to almost remove him from the posters and minimise his role in the latter films.
