Article states it was 350 miles from Newfoundland (the nearest land), map below if that helps any.

I think it had actually drifted quite a distance off course before sinking as well (which is why it took several years to locate in the first place, they didn't have exact coordinates)

I think the whole diving to see the wreck is pretty macabre. So many lives were lost on the Titanic, gawping at the wreckage just seems off in my opinion.

I hope those on the submarine are found but I fear it will end badly

yes, i agree. It is basically a burial ground.

If they were going to be found alive, it would already have happened. I very much doubt they will ever be located, the water is just too deep and the vessel too small

Maybe I was looking from a weird angle cause it looked like the pin point of the wreckage was in the middle of that enclave where the PE is, in the picture I saw on the news.

I do remeber dropping a chip.
