Noky really care of what the public might think, sometimes it takes priority over her own feelings. Thats why, she rarely show her vulnerabilities / flaws. She always want to look perfect & watch what she says / do

If you meet a stranger like that, who always consider what they say / do in front of you. You would assume either that person doesnt like you / fake like what the other HMs are saying in the early days tbh

But once you get to know her, people will get past that.. since they know its just part of who she is

I think originally she nailed her flag to the wrong group who seemed to look down at her a bit (a bit of inverted snobbery at play imo certainly from Paul) I think by the time she realised that that group didn't like her that much, the others had already made their bonds, luckily Trish has kind of taken her under her wing. I'm not saying this is a direct comparison, but something about her reminds me of the theatre kids I used to work with. A lot of them were very stereotypically Theatre Kid(tm) times, and there was a bit of a front going on, if that makes sense. They weren't being maliciously false, but there were some (especially those to whom that kind of mannerism didn't necessarily come naturally) who came off as fake.

I don't know much about the beauty pageant world, but I'd bet it's at least broadly similar.

That's the vibe I get from Noky, anyway.
