Me and my friend Jayne are cooking.
![]() We have two family members (no more please!) round and two other friends. I don't normally associate like that but hey it is Christmas after all. ![]() Dinner will be served at 3pm, in time for the King's Speech. I've been cooking since 6:30 this morning. That's when I started drinking too.
I've already ate 3 courses. I'm about to have dessert. I shall then probably go to bed for a few hours to sleep it off. After I've put a double Cognac and an after eight down my trap. Gammon cooking in cherry coke to be glazed with morello cherry jam before going in the oven…served with cold Turkey, new pots in butter and herbs, cocktail sausages, pickled onions and garlic bread.
