Easy

Lindos , Rhodes

Heaven on earth and a quaint , little pedestrianised haven . Suitable for all families or couples who don’t want to go clubbing

About 4 or 5 child safe sandy beaches and no tide as the main beach is enclosed by a horse shoe shaped rock formation.

Also never been, stayed in falaraki, and even went as far south as Tsambika Beach. I really wanted to go to Lindos but the bus timetable ended up putting us of, i think maybe we had to get to the port in the evening or something, there was a reason why it wasnt going to work going to Lindos. Hopefully one day.

For me in terms of cities it doesn't get better than Rio.
Does any city have better beaches inside the city?

You could argue Cape Town or Sydney, but Cape Towns beaches are kind of small, although the white sand of Clifton beach in stunning and Sydney's beaches always feel like they take forever to get to and the water is too cold all year round to enjoy.
Then you have the nature, you can do so many hikes into the mountains direct from the city and see all sorts of exotic animals such as marmoset in the trees even just walking down the street.

Obviously there is a party vibe, people dance to any music they hear and just generally seem to have a positive view towards life.
And then you have historical centres, which are often hard to find in the americas.

When the city becomes to much you can easily get to amazing places in Rio state such as;
The boujie upmarket Buzios

The Caribbean-esk Arrial Do Cabo

Or if you want to feel transported to Thailand head south to Ilhe Grande

And if you need to just chill out in a beautiful historic small town then there is Paraty

It's not as busy as Rome or the Amalfi Coast. You would be better off driving there though

Well we had a few greek island hopping holidays but as soon as we discovered Lindos we only ever go there now as it’s simply perfect
