When allergies are that severe ,they usually have a EpiPen of some kind or medication ...I would have thought? .

However...I still don't understand how such a huge error like this could be made , considering how accommodating coffee shops usually are re: allergies & dietary requirements, when I've been to coffee places ...they usually have every plant based milk that's going.

And if the worker didn't understand or didn't check ,then he shouldn't be serving food & drinks, especially to people with allergies that severe. It's cost her life .

…yeah, that was my thought with the Epipen and that’s obviously ideally how it should be….I know at the school, though…that we’ve been without epicene for a long while because there has been such a shortage for several years now and it isn’t something that seems to rectify…I say this also because it was mentioned in the radio that she was waiting for an epipen and didn’t have one at the time to be able to carry around…

…it might have been also that with such an extreme allergy reaction that more than one epipen would have been needed also…

I don't want to sound harsh but if she was that allergic, why is she ordering a hot chocolate from people earning minimum wage? How savvy and up on the latest allergies do we want them to be for £11 per hour, and much, much less for teenagers.
