When I worked with MPs, so many of the visitors to surgeries were because of trouble with online banking, lost money that the banks wouldn't refund, accounts being hacked and people losing out. I administer my credit card online but my banking I still do in person. Nothing would induce me to have an online account, I'd rather drive 20 miles in to Norwich. If the bank is hacked, that's their problem, they will still be liable to pay me my money.

We are with the Halifax.. occasionally visit the bank but usually use the online option
