Remembering Kerry
|
Quote:
It's like a cult mantra from Reform and its supporters to be anti migrants. Once scapegoating starts,it's incredible how many jump on that wagon. I KNOW what I've heard from Reform supporters directly to my face re migrants. None of it nice at all. I was sickeningly disgusted at their attitude. However there it is. I'm sorry but I've not a scrap of trust in Reform. Their scapegoating of migrants for the ills of the UK is how the Nazis got to work on and sucked in others, that is a fair comparison in my view. I'll never see other human beings only as undesirable numbers, that is how Reform does and thrives on it too, unfortunately. That is awful and horrific as to your family. It is however another reminder of where sowing seeds of distrust of others and scapegoating them for things going wrong can lead. One of my Uncles was actually physically sick at what he and the forces he was in, found at camps as the war came to a close. Even in the 2000s, it brought tears from him just giving his account to me of what they found. As he said to me, all because evil people used power to stop seeing some people actually as people and just numbers to be got rid of. That doesn't sound that far from the rhetoric of Reform and some of its supporters. Yet all that Reform go on about is migrants. Pushing the mantra they are more the undesirable people now. I don't look at them that way. I find scapegoating despicable. Anyhow, I'm wasting my time on here with this. That's blatantly obvious. Last edited by joeysteele; 31-05-2025 at 08:38 PM. |
