I’m sure you’ll like the taste of ’em an. all. You could even go really crazy and order a banana-and-hot-dog milkshake from them (sounds mad, but it’s actually low-key the kind of thing they do), or something. It’s an experience. A vibe. The randomness is part of the beauty.

Italian cuisine is my favourite. I love how simple a lot of the dishes are - something like a carbonara is literally only four ingredients. There's still a lot of variety in different sauces and pasta shapes though and love an authentic Italian pizza

French cuisine is great too but more fine dining and good winter food - lots of rich sauces, red wine etc. Onion soup is nice too and can't beat a French bakery

…I’m not really up for some regions of France when they put a raw egg on the top of their pizzas…

Heck, we can make French toast count, too, can’t we? Especially with a bit of goose/duck fat slathered on and some blueberries. Side-by-side an apple (with a ginger tablet to quell that queasy feeling I annoyingly sometimes get from eating apples these days) and some fennel-matcha tea and we’re winning in terms of luxuriously invigorating starts to the day. That’s how we do it in Redway’s idealised world.

I've voted both.
I love Italian food absolutely but I also really love and prefer dining out in France.
They're 2 of my favourite Countries.

Bella Italia tries but it just can’t compare to Italian food in Italy itself, or even more niche Italian restaurants within the U.K. still. Their spag.-bol. is pretty-darn basic, to my mouth.

That Milkshake definitely sounds eccentric.

Yep. They do have the randomest, most out-there milkshakes. But they also have normal ones, if that’s what you’re really going for.

Of course I'm vegetarian so that dictates my choices.

Italian vegetarian pizzas and lasagne would be main choices.

In France, where I absolutely love dining out
That would be Ratatouille or they do a really good mushroom bourguignon.

Yes, I became vegetarian a few years ago now.

A very special member on here who is vegetarian too, said a load of things I agreed with.
Which also helped to alter my thinking.

I've always been more inclined to eat vegetables and fruit though.

I think with me I’m just more concerned about getting in enough green veg. I have pretty fancy and luxurious ideas for meat so I could never take that final leap to become vegetarian, I can’t lie. But that doesn’t mean it isn’t commendable to have that level of self-discipline, whether I agree with the underlying reasons for the choice or personally resonate with me/want that for myself and the people I feed per-se or not.

Veggie Pizzas and Lasagne are really nice, I can see why you'd like them, especially with your dietry requirements as well.

And I do hear good things about both French dishes, so there's got to be something about them.

I’m a sucker for a good veggie-lasagne, to be fair. And a good plantain-lasagne: https://youtu.be/y0LAhSHhIhQ?si=JbUMd0-lAi2YrghT
