Walk around the marshes then took a boat across the broad and had a walk in the woods, boat back and a nice tea and cake in the Cafe before coming home.

Yesterday met the gals in Chelmsford, what a lovely place, cocktails in the Cosy Club, then a nice lunch at the Giggling Squid, really nice Thai food, nice walk along the river then a few more refreshments before taking the train home...gorgeous weather as well

It was in turkey. But we’re quite close to turkey so felt a pretty big tremor.

Earthquake of magnitude 6.1 strikes western Turkey, disaster authority says

Aug 10 (Reuters) - An earthquake of magnitude 6.1 struck western Turkey on Sunday, the country's AFAD disaster management authority said, while local media said the quake was felt across multiple provinces.
AFAD said the quake occurred at around 7:53pm local time in the Balikesir province, near Turkey's biggest city Istanbul, but there were no immediate reports of casualties or damage in any of the affected provinces.
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya said on X that emergency teams from AFAD had started inspections around Istanbul and the neighbouring provinces but that no negative reports had come through so far.
AFAD said the quake struck at a depth of 11 km (6.8 miles), while the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) registered the earthquake's magnitude at 6.19 and a depth of 10 km.

Went for my biennial eye check up at the opticians. All grand with my eyes. Then got a coffee from the little coffee shop near by, sat in the park and watched the river.

Did a wee shop at Sainsbury, did some laundry, practiced my steel drum and about to cook dinner.

We took it in turns and ran with her, I am a walker more than a runner she loves a gallop though but too many around to let her off lead

Worked a half day, came home did a bit of house work, packed for tomorrow, will be picking my friend from Australia up from the airport tomorrow we're to Kerry for a few days. Have a week off work
