…my own understanding of what Gani has said is that he loves his wife and son and would stay in the marriage if she accepts him for who he is…his bisexuality, his career aspirations etc…a ‘this is me/take it or leave it…’….type deal…not a partnership of working together as such…

That does not make it ok to happen here and it should not be accepted under some false idea of 'multiculturalism'.

I never said I agreed with it though, I was just pointing out about his culture/heritage/family. I do find it odd.

The consensus on it is changing in India now and it’s becoming less and less acceptable. Shame arranged marriages are not also becoming less acceptable.

I am also completely bemused at Gani’s popularity given his dodgy backstory plus his penchant for messing around with his feet whilst chatting to others then going into the kitchen … also seeing him scrape his half eaten meal back into the communal food plates made me retch ..

I do agree with you personally.

However I do think that we have to remember that Gani's morals will be different to the UK's in certain areas because he does come from a different culture.

And tbh, I'm just glad that it weren't anything worse, as you never know what BB might put on their Show.
