Also, and this isn't in response to you Amni at all, the rationalisation of first cousin marriage that I am seeing 'because that's how his culture does it' is nasty. Inbreeding is not a good thing. At the very least it puts the child at much higher risk of deformity. I don't care if it happens elsewhere... That does not make it ok to happen here and it should not be accepted under some false idea of 'multiculturalism'.
