Some will stupidly say 'good riddance' or similar, or go on about 'right wing incel Facebook thickos' or whatever, and celebrate this move, but the fact is that BB is sending a clear message that it only wants viewers of a very narrow pollical worldview tuning in.

The producers see the show as a platform to condition and enforce a lecture on us on how to be 'better'.

Well, good luck with that, but I want a fun show of reality TV full of real people, not to see people berated nightly for holding extremely normal views (like a woman being a woman).

The question is how long can the show now limp along on just the reddit/ bluesky crowd watching.

Okay but alternatively, no-one can reasonably even pretend to be offended about views such as "gays are normal too" or "transmen are men."

Someone might disagree, but there's not real room for offense in those views, and it's not disagreement that the channel wants to avoid.

Whether or not it matters if someone is "offended" is a different discussion, but this isn't purely about only platforming certain views.

Why can't they?

Why do you get to set what others can or cannot be offended over?

52% of Muslims in the UK believe that homosexuality should be illegal. I would imagine that they are pretty offended by it.

…it’s a really bad duty of care to the housemate as well because knowing is always more favourable to not knowing and allowing imaginings and fake reporting stuff…

We don't know what he said or did that was worse that what we were allowed to see a couple of days ago.

But George did sign a contract to abide by BB's rules and decisions. And ITV will want to ensure that Ofcom don't come after them.

Hopefully we will get a written transcript of the offence.

They should let us know in print. We did eventually find out what Lewis F. was booted for, though it lacked the context of the actual situation.

[He had previously been given several warnings for
unacceptable language, however most were not aired.]

It’s hilarious how it’s being defended and no one knows what he did to be thrown out.

I agree, I probably share a lot of George's views and even I was quite bored of him. His main hope of being interesting was if he moved away from politics and we saw a different side to him but ah well, not to be. There are certain things BB does not have a choice over because they are bound by broadcasting rules. It sounds like George had enough chances.

Tbh it might even make the series more interesting so let's try and be positive. I've honestly never seen so much whinging about a series and it's only week 2! Civilian BB is always a bit of a slow burn, it's no problem if we don't have immediate drama or if we haven't seen too much from some of the housemates yet. Give it a chance
