there have been many losses on both sides now anyway, and tbh those Donetsk, Lugansk regional governments never have been pro-Kyiv government either, how are still pro-russian language usage, pro-russian culture

pride has to be swallowed to end a war and sometimes the path to that place defies normal logic.

There is an underlying problem though, if putin comes out of the war with more land, it will just embolden the russian leadership to take further action. We know what Putin's goal is. He hasn't changed from that position since he started the war. We can defeat Russia by making it bankrupt, thats the only way the west is going to win this
