I think he is a good actor
just to get rid of him due to his age is wrong.

no there isn't... not for actors or people in the arts. If your pushing 60 and the role is a character who is 20 to 30 then that choice isn't ageist it's an artistic/creative choice. They ( the producers) can claim he ( the actor) is too old for the role now.
Ps who said he was sacked due to his age? Actors of all ages get the boot all the time.
