Roger it was racism plain and simple.

To say Jade learned from it is to admit just one thing - her money was coming to an end. She had to do something. By bad luck or chance of fate she got cancer. She was then given a second chance by the media. She milked it to the end primarily for profit but under the guise of increasing cancer awareness. This way she got free publicity to sell her products from cancer charities.

I say to the end, she milked it. The trouble is though her sponsors are still trying to milk it.
