I would have though so also but maybe it comes from some folk not really geting good British oldschool humour.

Those who scream for instance "He called his mum a mingebag!" clearly never enjoyed watching Steptoe and Son.

And why do folk keep going on about Tom? Bea saw him off so early on in the show he hardly had any effect what soever. Cant have been that much of a man if he runs away just because she managed to get most of the attention out of the three new HMs (not including Dave).
This is an interesting thought. Those of you who like Marcus; do you like British humor and those that don't; do you prefer American sitcoms etc?
You should start a thread or poll on this. Be interesting to see but probably just be lost here.
