Default Westlife are #4 on Itunes!

And they will undoubtedly be #1 soon. CHris Daughtrys song as well climning up the charts!
WHat is the british musical taste? Are they just like robots, anything that comes on Xfator becomes #1 regardless of who it is, what it is, or how craap it is?
How sad!

It gets 12m-13m viewers. It's not just because its on XF, it's because people like it. A lot of people who may not have liked Westlife before saw them tonight and really liked the performance.

Its everyone though! It doesnt matter who it is, apart from the rare exception. Same as the winner single. If its on xfactor, its #1, like people dont have a musical taste of their own. Personally, I think its ridiculous.

Way to generalise! Go you!

Itunes means ***** all really, it's one outlet out of many. Westlife at best will get a top ten single but I'll be surprised if it's in the top 5. Westlife are a mom band and it's a potent market, chances are if they performed on X Factor or not they'd have done well.

And when it comes to music charts surely America 'OMG GENERIC RAPPER NUMBER 212132 IS THA BEST EVA1212121!' takes the biscuit? See? two can play the generalisation game my friend.

Itunes means everything.Itunes makes up about 95% of the UK singles chart.
For example about 99% of the biggest selling single of the year so far's sales came from Itunes. If Westlife are already top 5 on itunes so early in the week, they're pretty much guaranteed a top 5 position in the singles chart next Sunday.

NO Where not like Robots!

I could say the same about you guys (Americans)
You all ****ing shag anything that comes from Disney over there!
Jonas Brothers this..Demi Lovato that..Miley Cyrus..Selena gomez!
Oh God!

I loved how you had to squeeze in Chris Daughtry there just incase we all forgot about him because No one gives a **** about American Idol when X Factor is on.

Westlife are a very popular band in the UK
X Factor is a Very Popular Show in the UK
Even you can put 2 and 2 together right?

So dont be so pissed that The British Singers or in this case Irish Singers, are doing better than Americans

Btw are Daughtry the guys that sing 'Over You' ? That song is ****ing brilliant

Would Daughtry's version be allowed to be sung in rock week?
I think Lloyd could do a good job with it

Eh, I reckon Lloyd'll be given something softer.
Snow Patrol/Coldplay/Keane style, which I think will work.

I think both version are equally as good as each other, tbh. Westlife's will do better obv, cause it's Westlife.

I must say Westlife never cease to amaze me with how well they do. I always dismiss them as irrelevant or just another granny band, but they clearly have a much wider demographic than I though because they consistently comeback time and time again and blow everyone out of the water. And their performance last night was amazing.

It is clever what they have done, they have been playing this song all through the series this is X Factors song this year, so everyone is buying it because it sounds familiar.
