X FACTOR twins John and Edward Grimes are hiding a bombshell sex secret from their fans – they are still virgins.

The gruesome twosome have only had one girlfriend between them.

And that “relationship” only lasted three days, according to old school friends.

Pals have lifted the lid on the twins’ sex life ... and said they have never had one.

It comes as the Irish pair’s dad, also called John, said they have been inundated with sexy messages from besotted girls desperate to get close with them.

He said: “They do have an eye for the ladies. I think they like the attention and are milking it like any young lads would.”

But while the 18-year-olds are enjoying the spotlight, locals back home in the Dublin suburb Lucan have been revealing the truth about their past.

One said: “Some people round here see them as village idiots. They didn’t get much female attention before the show.

“John had a girlfriend for just three days when he was 15 and that’s the only time we’ve seen either of them with a girl.”

Another pal added: “They’re definitely virgins. They’re more interested in their hair and becoming famous than girls.

“Don’t get me wrong, they’ll love the female attention they’re getting. But they know that can come after they’ve made the most of their time on X Factor.”

The road outside the X Factor mansion has had to be closed because hundreds of teen girls have tried to catch sight of the lads. Both John and Edward have coyly managed to avoid questions about their love lives in the last few weeks.

But they have hinted about their lack of experience. John said of past gal pals: “We don’t look at them as ‘girlfriends’. “When we meet a special girl, then we’ll go into a relationship. We come as a package.”
