I love proper debate - but I don't like people ganging up on others. I am not the only one by far that has passed comment on it on this site. It does go on - and I am one of those that has experienced it. It hasn't devasted me or anything - but that is not the point. It makes people feel uncomfortable - and that in itself it bullying. You don't know as much as you think you do.

It is not about Matt - it is about it happening to others as well - and for the record I was never talking about you - but you seem to have assumed I was for some reason.

Maybe it made you feel uncomfortable, but again, if several people thinking you are someone else on an internet forum makes you uncomfortable, then perhaps the internet is not the place for you.

My argument was that this thread contained no bullying. Which is a fact, plain and simple. A fact the thread creator verified for us. If you consider several people having the same opinion and voicing it, and accusing someone with good reason, to be bullying then maybe you don't know much about it. Or at the least have some very warped views on it.

'Ganging up' in this case meant a few of us questioned the thread nature. Big deal. It was your choice of language which made it appear far more sinister. Do I think instances of blatant ganging up occur in other threads? Absolutely. Do I think these people get uncomfortable or distressed? Hell no. Because they realize it is just a forum. And they always fight back tooth and nail and flame wars ensue. This is a forum. It is not real life.

You patronising twit. I can hold my own - as I have proved on several occasions. I repeat - I know bullying when I see it - and so do others. You most certainly do not speak for everyone. You certainly seem to think you know how everyone else feels - when you clearly don't.

That also works both ways. You cant speak for these people either, you can only speak for yourself. And once again, in this case, the case in which I am arguing, the case in which you are not arguing, the person himself said he believed there is no bullying in this thread. Game over. No bullying in this thread whatsoever.
