Rangers and Celtic dont and wont do well in europe particularly. Not enough money.
If they join the EPL, i can't see either being able to keep a pl spot. They get in because they play sides equvelent to championship teams. They themselves when they have played well against top premier league sides, its like a cup final they go all out to win where as a top pl club wont even play a full starting 11 and still beat them. I dont think they could keep form, for 38 games against pl teams.

Rangers do well in Europe... UEFA cup final 08... but never in the Champions League. It's to do with lack of funding. Rangers have such a small team that one injury (for example, Edu) has set them back somewhat.
There's too many complications with putting the Old Firm in EPL. Keep the SPL as it is, I love it!! |

Suppose so, they wont get any european football.
With the SPL they get champions league and europa. EPL they would get nothing.

As they should, i hate when people boo if someone has left on good terms.
Its understandable with the likes of adebayor. Paulton rovers are 5 leagues below.. Their stadium i think holds like just over 1000 not sure it has seats though.

We're missing 3 out of our top 5 players (Cana, Cattermole and Jones), and you guys are due on on-form win... so I'm worried! Defoe is due a comeback goal, but then again Bent is due a 'revenge'(in a friendly way) goal.
Be an interesting match, but I predict 1-1... Bent and Crouch (lol). |
