Thats what they think. It has a massive female following and people who have no idea about cars who like to think they do. Its more about the presenters in the same way X Factor is about the judges. I don't see how its the greatest show of the decade, it has done NOTHING for TV or culture and is practically identical to any other similar shows (Five air some).

![]() If it was the same show then it wouldn't be on BBC2 at all any more, plus it had two completely different production companies. And the Top Gear wasn't relaunched until after the first series of Fifth Gear so it could've returned in its original form on BBC2. Five stole it rather than it moving |
