I don't usually watch live feed often but one thing i wanna know is.. Why do they sometimes in the middle of an interesting conversation switch to an empty camera with nobody near for a few seconds or upto even 5 minutes?

Because if they are talking about something or someone on the outside that isn't appropriate, they cut it for legal reasons.
