For all the channels you get, radio, fantastic programs and free bbc iplayer, it is worth the small fee which can be paid over 12 months.. Plus British tv need need the BBC to be funded by the public, ITV would have to cut costs on a very large scale if arista's pro Murdock Sky empire dreams came true..

Yes and I am sure there are many hundreds of thousands of pensioners agree with you, not having access to all those extra TV channels and Radio stations.

They also love watching BBC I-player on computers they havent got.
