his Queen is a bit patronizing towards him in that light, suggesting the Queen's domination over her loyal subjects, of which he does not count himself a member.
Seriously, just try that line in a republican pub in the north and see would they agree with you. What's written on paper means nothing compared to what's in your heart. In my mind if you live in NI but consider yourself Irish, then you are Irish.
His Queen is useless without any true connection. It's just a byte on a computer. Ink on paper. Files in a building. To that extent yeah, it's a fact.
