Yeah I wrote a really nice speech for the person I want to win! I have saved the PM I sent to Gary so once the results are announced I will post my uncut version of the message in here

I just find that there's a really delicious irony in turning away from public voting at this stage in proceedings. Sure some people pm'd from the start right?

I think you're reading far too much into it James. I'd imagine that he wants private votes now because he wants the result to be a surprise, it was quite obvious all the way through who was getting to the next stage and also because he asked people for reasons, so he'll be able to post all those together when he's announcing the results. That's what I think anyhow.

Yes, it's all been rather obvious, that's the point. The whole thing makes me chuckle a little and now that we get down to the nitty gritty of it - when, by all accounts it was just a bit of fun- it becomes a secret ballot. I'm not having a go - just find it interesting.

No, I know that but I think it is only a "secret Ballot" now so that it will be more of a surprise when its announced thats all, I doubt it's anything more sinister than that really!

I'm not saying that it is; all I'm saying is that it's interesting, but it actually would have been far more interesting if people had been required to post them on the thread instead.
