I think Harry, what you need to remember is that Mark wouldn't just do the premium bit to keep members happy.. I don't expect the server costs are that cheap. I think it's a great idea! I'd be extremely happy to pay a pound a month. I'd happily pay 5 pound a month in fact.

You could have a donation thing like wikipedia does and if you donate money it goes directly to Mark to help the forum. I really dont like the idea of the pay for premium option, It would be very DS like.

You can use debit cards as-well on pay-pal. And if you didn't have one it only takes 10 minutes to set up a bank account.

Something I've been thinking about a bit. Over 18 means there's effort in verifying peoples ages which is time consuming. Also, there are several under 18's who are far more mature on the board than over 18's, so it's counter productive in that sense. Musicbox doesn't do any harm to the forum. It's not server intensive and doesn't affect forum performance.

Premium idea is good. The benefits shouldn't be too great obviously, that would be unfair on the other forum members, but I would pay for no censorship and larger avatars.
