The way JJ cuddled up to Josie in the snug last night made me think of a mother and child.
JJ lost his dad in an accident two years ago, perhaps this has made him insecure. Losing a parent suddenly in that way can mess with your head. He is a very angry young man and could possibly benefit from some proffessional help. If Josie reminds him of his mum then that could account for him feeling close to her. I don't think there is anything of a sexual nature in it myself, but I could be way off the mark.
