It was actually....and it was only a few months after the death of her firstest rabbit Boycie ( and there was trauma when that died, Im telling you...we were sobbing while she waved him off to his cloud )

Suffice to say rabbits are no longer an option in the watchinittoomuch household...

Aww waving the bunny goodbye off to his cloud. I'd have been inconsolable. I can't do dead animals. I remember being made to watch stuff like Bambi and Old Yeller when I was a kid and sobbing until my throat hurt.

I understand the need to cull animals and slaughtering for meat, but I couldn't do it myself. I'm a townie and I prefer other people to take care of that sort of stuff for me.

Erm, could you not have take the rabbit to the vet to be put to sleep?? Just a thought...

No...it was a sunday morning, we were skint, couldnt get a vet, it was half dead already and in obvious pain, it was the only option.
