You should see some of the stuff in 'Whiskys of the World' in Heathrow airport, 1000s per bottle.

I can agree with what you are saying but I disagree with the principles of it I'm afraid - sorry it's just my opinion. I just appreciate that all life is precious whether it suits us to be or not. If people choose to hunt and kill for food that's ok I just couldn't do it hence I don't eat meat - just they way I am I guess.

It was actually....and it was only a few months after the death of her firstest rabbit Boycie ( and there was trauma when that died, Im telling you...we were sobbing while she waved him off to his cloud )

Suffice to say rabbits are no longer an option in the watchinittoomuch household...

Oh and dave keeps loads of pets including dogs, chickens and rabbits, all would be dead by now if dave hadn't taken them as pets.

Yeah, kind of obscene when there are people who haven't got a drink of clean water.

Wotcha :-)

Aww waving the bunny goodbye off to his cloud. I'd have been inconsolable. I can't do dead animals. I remember being made to watch stuff like Bambi and Old Yeller when I was a kid and sobbing until my throat hurt.

I understand the need to cull animals and slaughtering for meat, but I couldn't do it myself. I'm a townie and I prefer other people to take care of that sort of stuff for me.

Nope - a chaeap one on rare Malt whisky terms - 71 Port Ellen is about the cheapest of the '"rare's" - I made a huge mistake not taking the 50 bottles

Peter - I'm Scottish and a collector - don't teach me whisky! My best investment was a bottle I left one employer in 1991 - they gave me amongst other things a voucher to buy a £50 bottle of whisky..........the one I chose is 63 signed by bottler - the 65 signed sold for £1700 on eBay.

I know you can pay a lot of this stuff. Not on the same scale I know, but I've got a bottle of 60 year old Remy Martin at home... I'll probably have to drink it soon before it goes off.

I don't really like whisky, Claymores. What a terrible confession to have to make to a Scot!

It means 'thankyou very much'. BTW, wasn't trying to teach you about whisky, I wouldn't dream of telling a Scot about their sacred tipple What do you think of our 'Penderyn' whisky?
