Right let's explain this in depth as it seems that it isn't sinking in.

MTVN quoted that post when you said that 'Cher's turning into a mini Cheryl' in response to a similar article to the one here. Despite you not reading it you still bought into the fact that you think it's true as you said that statement about Cheryl. However little you've bought into the press. So it's hypocritical that you take an anti-press POV here because it's your favourite being affected.

If you don't understand then I can't explain it any simpler. The flaw in your opinion is that you only slate the press when it concerns your favourite and that you'll buy into it if it's anyone else as evidenced by MTVN.

I'm not arguing that the papers need to get a grip, I've been saying that on here for years, I just think your stance is a bit hypocritical.
