how many warnings do people get though before they get an infraction? because normally you just get an infraction straight away. so why do some people get warnings instead?

Insult to other members is generally used either as a first infraction...or if the insult is not particularly bad

Insults to other members, is usually if the person insults loads of people in one go, is a serial offender ( at how official that sounds) or if it is a really bad insult.

A warning can be used just like...if an argument is heating up or something, in an attempt to stop it before it gets worse :/

I still dont get the points system. For months I was on 20 points which i assume means I was always 1 point away from a 7 day ban?

I did have a 7 day ban but then I dont get if youre still one point away from another bloody 7 day ban?

and Lord knows you can get one point for any random thing.

It depends what people have done.......like if your spamming you get a warning.....(sometimes a warning might just be a Mod telling you in a thread though) also we dont have to warn you, we might just want to warn you.

Depends on the seriosness of the post and the mod dealing with it. I myself will offer a warning for light swear language, but a rude or spiteful comment to somebody or a lot of swearing I give an instant infraction.

The infractions expire after a certain amount of time.

Say you got 21 points, and one of your infractions expired DURING your week ban. this means that the next infraction you get is another automatic ban. Its just how it all works. And one of the reasons I tend to give longer lasting infractions than the 10 day ones.


The best way to avoid this, is dont get up into double figures
