If love be rough with you, be rough with love. Prick love for pricking and you beat love down

Some of the songs that make me cry... The song was written about the lead singer's grandfather, a war hero. I find it very moving, the lyrics are beautiful and the story and message behind the song just fill me with hope and sadness. -wells up- An album track by the Sugababes, but performed solely by Mutya (and I think the odd backing vocal from the others), written as a tribute to her dead sister Maya. The lyrics are inspiring and I love the song. Another Athlete song... this one was written about the premature birth of the lead singer's daughter and her fight for survival, the imagery is a bit shocking and upsetting in nature, but the song is well written and I love it a lot. Written about a loved one's crippling addiction to drugs to the point where they have to choose between drugs or the one who loves them... It has a personal meaning to me, but I think it's a very thought provoking song and is extremely emotional. Last edited by Z; 04-11-2010 at 08:22 PM. | |||
