Being a parent I have more than a little experience in this.

In fact I have cups and medals for it.

Not only that but I have learned to just say "****** it" and then use whatever I have been given.

luckily enough i like all my mother,brother and fathers gifts so i dont have to lie,but i hate being called michael off one of my relatives and i keep getting ****ing showergel.

The only people who ever see me open their presents are my parents and they always get me great presents,if I get something crap off someone else they don't see my reaction,tis all good.

I have no problem pretending to like a present as I mentally allocate it to someone else for next year I then buy myself something I want with the money I'm going to save next christmas.

The last time I got a present that I really hated was years ago, it's the only time I can remember as well, it was for my 18th birthday and my b/f at the time gave my a necklace with 18 on it, it was tacky and disgusting, I tried my best to act as if I liked it but I never wore it except for just after I opened it!
