you seem to be very selective here - are you forgetting that David, Elton's partner is in his 40's, is very fit and healthy and will also be one of the boy's parents? And who is to say the child will not have a happy life? You are one of the very few on here who have this ridiculous notion.
What about 'everyday non celeb parents' who are not able to give their children an active life (which is a weird thing to say: the child will be active,as all children are!!!) - if you mean someone who can go around kicking a ball with their kid - there are thousands of fathers out there who are overweight, obese, unfit, have health problems that prevent them doing this - and plenty who simply can't be arsed -and quite a number of fathers who work incredibly long hours to provide a roof and all that a child needs, and who simply don't have the time to have regular active play time with their children.
Your reasons are without substance, petty and to be perfectly honest: ludicrious. Firstly, you bleated on about adoption rules, when Elton and David are not adopting, they chose the surrogacy route. You then gave it the, "A child needing a 'mothers love' patter, which is nonsense as some mothers can be inherently evil - now you're banging the 'hes too old a man' drum. Are you homophobic by chance? I ask because all I'm seeing from you is an empty vessel making much noise.
Another little snippets for you in respect of your "the rich can adopt but ordinary couples have to meet strict rules" and your 'child needs a mother's love' nonsense....

Great 'mother' this little fella had eh? Alcoholic, HIV positive and dumped her child. So much for that wonderful thing you have in mind that you called, 'A mother's love' then huh!
How many ordinary couples out there would take on a child that was HIV positive. Not many. It's an absolute travesty that this little boy wasn't given the chance to be adopted by Elton & David - all through nothing more than bitter prejudices based on age and sexuality. The only person who has lost out was this little HIV positive boy.
