It was my favourite ever and the last real series that had a true summer feel, IMO. It was also the last ever series that was in the mainstream UK press constantly and in a sense the last 'acceptable', 'big time' Big Brother. Series 8 onwards was when everyone but the fans really just wanted it off the telly. It's difficult to put into words but you get the drift. It was the last water cooler BB [with the exception of the next CBB but for all the wrong reasons].

I loved the twist heavy aspect, I loved Richard, I loved the shitty, dusty grass .. everything. Twas a hallmark BB viewing summer for me.

And the first two weeks were just ... riddiculous.
