Are you saying what Dave is doing is bad because of heresy and deviating from 'true religion' then? The person that made that video criticising Dave's thing seems to be someone who themself is a religious fundamentalist. Someone that takes the Bible ultra-literally.

And don't want to offend or anything but I found the preacher guy in it quite comical really. 'Yoy Yoy Yoy' lol. It just seems to be some brand of Christian-New Age hybrid. He wasn't exactly being coherent. I don't see why people are taking it seriously. I watched the video to watch Crowder. I thought it was superfluous to point out the bias of the edit - it being that bloody obvious. And no, I don't think Crowder has any credibility, but it's not people like me we should be worred about, is it?

However, Ch4 for some inexplicable reason decided to actively pursue him and grant him a platform for this shoite. Then, this weekend, teenagers flocked to Gloryfester to catch a glimpse of Pepper and JJ. All because the producers of a TV show thought, much like yourself I'm assuming, hey, it's all just a bit of harmless fun. It's not, IMO. It's dangerous, exploitative and potentially mentally damaging for the very vulnerable and the extremely naive. I'm simply one of many people endeavouring to ensure that anyone who is interested is armed with the facts in relation to that utter, utter idiot, Dave.

Nah doesnt change my opinion of Dave at all I'm afraid. The only thing that has angered me is that I just wasted 10 minutes watching that load of crap. That was just Dave rambling on about the glory, do I believe everything he said? No, of course not, but it doesnt bother me that he said it.

That was no different to any other program they show on those God channels, it's people going on about how great God is and why shouldnt they? Noone is forced to watch that and they have paid and produced it themselves. That bit at the end was bog-standard advertising. As I said, no different to any other preacher or God channel, they're advertising their products, money doesnt grown on tress you know.

But many many other people are deeply nonplussed that Channel 4 gave free and unlimited airtime (on live feed) to a fraud/horror story like Dave Vaughan

The worst of it being that he was TOTALLY protected in all the highlights shows with NONE of his real awfulness ever being presented to a public who laboured under the illusion that he was a harmless and amusing eccentric

Whether you go along with the above description of Dave or not, a lot of discriminating viewers were given the heebeejeebees when they saw what Dave was actually all about ...

Not good ... truly ... NOT good at all ...

Also very hard to fathom how/why it happened ... which somehow makes it much much worse ...

Turn on any God/Religious channel right now and I can gurantee you it wont be much different than that clip of Dave

Whenever you cut 24 hours down to an hour of highlights a lot will be left out. Dave was chosen because he was a complete oddball, I dont believe there was any conspiracy there. Why shouldnt he have been shown on live feed, because you diagree because his religous beliefs? People can make up their own mind on that, they dont need you to protect them from themselves.
