channel 5 have the red button but when you press its just takes you too loads of games, do you think if they got big brother theyd bring back the live feed on there red active button? i couldint see them dedicatein it to any of there over channels like fiver ect, theres a possibilty live feed could be back on there red button services. *crosses fingers*

I think Desmond is smart enough to know where C4 went wrong:

-Becoming too PC
-Axing Live Feed in '09
-Ignoring Fans
-Not Giving The HMs Booze

etc


So he'll know that the reason BB10 failed so badly was due to no Live Feed, where as BB11... well all he needs to do is ask Channel 4 how much they made of people buying Memberships for their website last summer and he'd see how much of a success Live Feed was.


I don't know if he's the type to want it online and make tons of money of it, I'd personally hate this option because I can't see them doing the 1000 Passes again on Launch Night Eve the way they did in June.

But yeah if theirs a Red Button, I'm sure he'd do it because it'd get alot more attention than silly games.

Personally i would rather have the red button back than internet LF, but having said that, if i had to pay for internet LF i would do.

It's not on Freeview, and C5 haven't got the capacity to have a stream on Freeview - heck, they couldn't even have it on Fiver overnight - and I suspect Supercasino would remain on C5 assuming it's locked into a contract.

Games etc. doesn't count for anything unless C5 have a video feed on Sky they could use - IIRC they probably did for The Farm/Back to Reality, but I don't think they've had anything since so I suspect they haven't got the space now. Even if they have, I would bet on it being behind a pay wall.


The advantage of the net feed of course is it's 24/7 - no ads, no interruptions (other than the usual censorship). As handy as having it on TV was, they always tended to go to a break in the middle of anything interesting.
