In December she was slapped with a six-month driving ban after she was clocked speeding.

And without her Range Rover or pink horsebox to drive around, Katie Price may be missing the thrill of the road.

The model got a taste of a running engine today, though, when she took delivery of a brand new scooter.

The customised 125cc vehicle is suitable painted a candy pink, and has Price's equestrian logo on the side.

Workmen turned up at the 32-year-old's Surrey home today to hand over the scooter, which retails for around £849.

Of course, Katie will be unable to take her new wheels for a spin outside of her estate until after her driving ban is lifted in June.

So she'll have to stick to the vast expanse of her Surrey home until that day comes.

Katie's spokesman confirmed that the model has no plans to take the vehicle out on the open road until she is legally able.

Watch out then, Surrey .....

When Katie Price sat down with a tabloid newspaper to talk about about her 'two years from hell,' most would be forgiven for assuming she would reveal all about her marriage and divorce from Alex Reid.

But the cagefighter barely rates a mention in the model's lengthy tell-all interview.

Instead, the 32-year-old spends over half of the article discussing Peter Andre - her feelings towards him, his parenting skills and his relationship with Elen Rivas.

The glamour model appears at pains to herald her ex-husband's stellar parenting skills, telling the Daily Star repeatedly throughout their interview what a good father he is.

Her compliments come just a fortnight after she accused him and his management of manipulating the media to portray her as a bad mother throughout the furore over daughter Princess' burn.

And after Andre allegedly filed a Family Court application to become full-time carer of Junior, five and Princess Tiaamii, three.

Poor old KP ..... got it all in the money department, but nowhere else .....

KATIE Price has promised to make estranged husband Alex Reid a film star by offering him a part playing himself in her new movie.

And cage-fighter Alex Reid, 35, who has always wanted to be an actor, is said to be “over the moon”.

Yesterday sources close to Kate said the movie idea was very much still in early stages and no decisions over parts had been made.

Alex Reid's blockbuster autobiography will give explicit details of his sex life and bitter rows with Katie Price.

Alex, 35, has been compiling details of their marriage and sifting through photos and videos of the ill-starred union.

Alex, who married Katie just months after her failed marriage to Peter Andre, plans to contact publishers in the next few weeks once he has formulated a plan for his book.

The decision to get a tell-all book published also comes after Katie only offered £250,000 in a divorce pay-off.

Alex believes he can claw back cash he thinks he is entitled to by negotiating a £1million book deal.

He had been keeping the book idea top-secret as he feared Katie would try to scupper potential publishing deals.

Alex also wants to beat Katie – who already has four autobiographies – by releasing his book before hers. She has become a publishing sensation, also bringing out five novels.

She's never been one for quitting - well, perhaps apart from when it comes to marriage - but Katie Price has proved she has what it takes to soldier on in adversity when she finished a half marathon yesterday despite injuring herself.

The 32-year-old mother-of-three had to receive medical treatment after an old knee injury recurred when she was half way round the Silverstone Half Marathon which she was running to raise money for charity Vision.

But she was left in agony and needed the joint bandaging up before she managed to hobble round to the end of the course, with help from her brother Daniel and sister Sophie.

In 2009, Katie, ran the 2009 London Marathon with her then husband Peter Andre but took a massive 7 hours and 11 minutes as again, she was forced to limp round with her dodgy knee.

KP's a mug to continue running on an obviously damaged knee .....

Katie Price has been nominated for the Foxy Bingo Celebrity Mum of the Year Award along with Victoria Beckham, Dannii Minogue and Charlotte Church.

The TV star - who has three children, Harvey, eight, Junior, five, and three-year-old Princess Tiaamii, from two relationships - has made the 20-person shortlist for this year's accolade along with the former Spice Girl and the 'X Factor' judge.

The trio have been nominated for the way they have coped with the demands of parenthood while also managing their successful careers and handling the pressures of fame.
