there are many in the past and present who 'present' themselves as a couple when in fact, there is little romantic or sexual intimacy going on at a true and genunie level - which gives rise to such speculation -rightly and wrongly

When the lure of a fake relationship is enough to project one into the media spotlight and allow much money to be made, OR to project some sense of being hetrosexual for the massess - there is a hidden agenda to do so - either to court the public or for financial gain only. This is precisely what I believe JJJ are doing.

I wish I knew more about these celebs to comment properly (and I didn't pay much attention to them) but didn't Luke and Bex have a rather acrimonious break-up? That would suggest that there was some emotion involved rather than simply a cold business relationship running its course.

Of the others I think MJ and Lisa-Marie Presley was probably real? I remember she was quoted as being pretty sad when he died.

Don't know anything about the others. Not sure I even knew Elton John was married.

Luke and Bex admitted that they couldn't really stand each other ....... and I imagine that being released from the shackles of being 'in a supposed relationship' must have been trying (to say the least). This is what I think the situ with JJJ is also: and why Josie freely admits that they argue all the time.

(and yep, on a side note: Elton was married for 3 years, and after divorcing, a few years on he finally admitted to being gay).

think so..... and I think this is exactly what role Josie is playing in this current relationship - she may have feeling for JJ, but I very much doubt they are reciprocated on the level she may wish/want. IMO

I'd say the arguing thing is a sign of realness. A fake couple would sit back and wait for the money to roll in.

No, fraid not, it was far too long ago now for me to keep links to such things...... I recall them actually discussing it on tv though.

Princess: much as I'd like to agree that being gay isn't an issue now: I think it still is - very much so. You just have to look at some of the newer celebs who took quite some time for and admission of their sexuality - because they were being targeted to young females (I'm thinking the likes of Will Young initially - that sort of thing). Not saying it's right - not at all - a person's sexuality is nothing to be ashamed of: what is shameful, is pretending to be something you are not in an effort for 'promotional gain'. And I honestly do think this is what JJ is all about. I could be very wrong. Time will tell.

This was the break-up :

Sadly not. On Saturday night, Bex took to Twitter and claimed, amongst other things, that Luke had deleted her old Twitter and Facebook accounts and wiped her phone's memory, that he'd been cheating on her with a 19 year old boy, and that she'd issued a restraining order against him. At least, that's what we've managed to translate from confusing rants like this - and these are just the ones we're allowed to show you as some of them are a little more, um, graphic:

"The police wer called at 11pm Last nyt on him! For sitting outside my ****** house! I have a ****** restraining order on him For ***** sake."

Luke, on the other hand, was a little more restrained (not to mention slightly more in control of his keyboard), hitting back with the likes of:

"I will not stoop to the lower than low level by giving out numbers but thanks for all your support and the police have been contacted asap."

"Don't believe anything she says she deleted her own accounts it was bad enough cheating on me but now she has handed my phone num out."
