My lasting thought is that restricting open viewing to Joe Public from little parts of the site like Chat n Games would help stop those banned/perma-banned who feel the need to join in discussions/laffs and make 300 IDs or even go as far as to sign-in as a mod as Shaun did.
It would help your job! Reduce the fakes.
Joe and Jane Public should be able to view threads/discussion about BB or anything else TV, just not see 'who got most hated as TiBB member 2011' - it just makes sense to me.
The sense is in the definition of "member"
