Rubbish, this was caused by a domestic disturbance, it's not remotely similar to Norway. What would you rather happen, the news just refuses to report on the shootings in Oslo, because that way we'll just wish away terrorism and extremism right?

It should be reported as the headline on the day that it happened and then there should be small updates when there is actually new information.

It was a developing news story with more information constantly becoming available, even now we are finding out more and more about the attack and the gunman himself. It's a huge story that is going to have major consequences and repercussions, not just for Norway, of course it's going to receive prominent coverage

If there are more shootings and if they are inspired by this, then it probably would have happened anyway because of the action itself, not because news outlets have it 2 days of coverage instead of 1
