Well, most of her lil ditzy routines take place in the diary room. Even if housemates know you're hamming it up, by acting dumb it isn't a guarantee you'll get votes, if anything it buys u more time. eg. Corrine last year, Alex this year. People are too busy establishing their groups, friends, etc.. to worry about the ditzy dumbos..that's at least part reason they do well every year!

Lou isn't bright enough to be good at duplicity. Gem probably doesn't like her because Jay has feelings for Lou and Gem knows that reduces her chances at getting her claws into him.

Don't think it is just a case of looks though else she'd have reason to be jealous of everyone.... even the yeti!

It's difficult to know what Jem is saying because we don't know how much she has seen of the show before she entered and if she's basing her thoughts on them as she sees them now or how she perceived them before she entered.
