The really scary part is when Jem brings her Mum, Dad, friends, family, and the neigbour dog into in, and how DISAPPOINTED they all are (especially the dog)...WTF
In Fayes letter from home, her Mum said and I quote "say hello to Aaron for us", would you say that if you totally DISAPPROVED of the relationship...Jem is looking for airtime and trying to bring Faye and Aaron down. |

She's not all bad, she stepped down for Alex in that task despite the fact she probably could have gone on for a lot longer.

That's sibling rivalry, very different. But everyone makes out as if she is some monster, she isn't that bad.

So on the one hand we have sibling rivaly, on the other her so called "protection" of Faye, given she is the MUCH older sister, letting Faye win a task shouldnt have been too much for her should it? She let Alex win as she knows she is popular on the outside and the public would warm to her for letting her win.... ![]() |

I'm inclined to think Jem does not have Faye's interests as her priority.
Apart from anything else, when she arrived in the house, mention was made of the fact that she and Faye had not always been close and I got the impression that they'd had quite a big falling out at some point, beyond the usual 'sibling rivalry'. In last night's show, her reasons for leaving seemed to veer from 'doing it for Faye' to 'doing it to make herself happy' and back and forth depending upon what Faye was saying at that moment. There did not seem to be much consistency or truth coming from her. It's also unfortunate that her overall manner is a bit hard and no-nonsense. I appreciate that her life experience may have influenced this but it doesn't help to endear her to the viewers, in my opinion. Finally, her attitude towards Aaron seems to be based more on how it will affect her than it will Faye. When she entered the house, she tried to make out she had a mainly impartial attitude and just wanted to make sure her sister was being treated properly but as time has gone on it seems she has a more deep-rooted agenda. There wasn't much she had seen from watching the show to give her some great insight into 'the real Aaron', as all we'd seen was his audition tape (as unrealistic a portrayal of a HM as they ever are) and someone being a bit confused as to what was going on with a girl he'd just met on a reality show. Initially, she seemed to agree with the anti-Anton perception but changed that, not I believe because of some great revelation in the house, but because of her own interests. Take the cameras out of the equation, and they are probably behaving exactly how they would on the outside. Their mother is probably not surprised by the arguments. It was very wrong to throw 'mum would be disappointed' at Faye.
Faye seems to be the one always trying to make amends. It seems to me that Jem is jealous of Faye yet Faye actually looks up to Jem. |

I don't think Jem's a 'nasty piece of work'..I think she genuinly thinks she knows what's best for Faye and can't accept that if Faye is going to make any 'mistakes', she's perfectly entitled to do that and live her life the way she pleases...whether Jem thinks it's right or not..
I also think Jem's too serious..I don't think she knows how to lighten up..maybe that's to do with her disciplined physical routine

Or maybe she just had enough and wanted to quit but acted like she was doing a good deed for Alex to save face? I think saying that s**t to Alex was quite patronizing and basically saying I could win if I wanted to but I'm going to let you win cos I'm such a nice person.

So right,I think Jem is spoiling Faye's time in BB,I would tell Jem to walk and to close the door on her way out..............Jem thinks the puplic like her,she doesnt get it....she was kept in because so many wanted Anton or Jay out.

Here's my take on it that I posted in another thread:
I kind of agree. I understand where Jem is coming from but she's making Faye miserable and sending her on the emotional mind ******* she went during the second or third week but without the crying. There is jealousy, there will always be jealousy but jealousy comes in many different shapes and forms and it's not necessarily a bad thing. They've both said, their mother included, that they've had quite a rough history and Jem has said that Faye grew up more privileged then she did. There's also a lot of competition between the two and, especially when it comes to wrestling, I just think it's a classic case of younger sister looking up to older sister and trying to emulate her in an effort to become closer with her and forge a better relationship. Faye said from the beginning that her and Jem aren't close, but she wants to have that kind of sisterly relationship where they can speak with each other and depend on each other, be best friends of sorts and Jem has said she wasn't sure if Faye would embrace her or hit her, but she loves her and she appreciates the way Faye has stepped up to care for her in the house. This Aaron situation is causing unnecessary drama that, when it boils down to it, probably isn't even about Aaron in the first place. Probably just bringing up old feelings about old things. It's ok for your sister to want to protect, especially given you past history but Faye is stuck between a rock and a hard place. She either has to take Jem's word or Aaron's word because at the moment, there's no other way she can determine what's true and what's false.

She should butt out of her sister's life. She had a proper cheek trying to "have a word" with Aaron, her sister's an adult (believe it or not) and Jem has no right to stick her beak in.
And all that stuff about how upset and disappointed Faye's Mother and all their family and friends would be in her... bitchy - but not even clever-bitchy... just spiteful, amateur bitchy. No wonder there's been a rift between them. Jem seemed nice giving up the rowing task for Alex, but personally I think she wasn't going to win anyway. She isn't nearly as fit as she thinks she is but she made a big thing about looking magnanimous and stepping aside for Alex. |

Re. her opinion on Aaron, she has her opinion on the situation and that's fair enough, she's made Faye aware of what she thinks and now she needs to leave her decide for herself. Also, she keeps implying that she knows something from the outside about Aaron, like what? If anything as a viewer Faye was the one who's been dishonest with Aaron, what with nominating him 3 times and all ![]()

I thought it was quite cynical last night, when after antagonising Faye the whole evening and trying to make her feel guilty about the Aaron thing spoiling Jemma's time in the house, Jem only hugged Faye when she got into bed with her. It was like she'd separated her from Aaron and that was her little agenda fulfilled. |

![]() And yeah I noticed that too Livia, I hope she either walks or is evicted next, she's messing with her sisters head so much more than Aaron is, that's for sure.
