I'm sorry, but this idea, that it's okay to be ashamed of being gay, that IS homophobic. If you lie about being gay, then you ARE HOMOMPHOBIC.

because obviously it means you think there is something to be ashamed of if you lie about being gay. That is homophobia.

If you are gay, and you lie about it, that is homophobia. If you don't believe there is anything wrong with being gay, then why would you lie about it?
