I think he is referring to the man who was shot dead by police who now seems to have been forgotten, the person who supposedly fired a gun at them yet it turned out he didn't even have a firearm on him, the guy who was vilified as being a "gangster", and treated as guilty by the media when he was the victim of murder by trigger happy officers.
That's what caused all this.
