I don't care to get into another debate with you so don't take this as me starting one. But I just wanted to remind you of the thread the other day where we talking about you always bringing America vs The World into thread discussions, and you said it was me taking things personal and out of context. I find this post above quite funny in regards to that, bringing a discussion about Saudi Arabia around to America vs Europe.

Strange thing that you feel the need to make things about America all the time on a majority British forum.

Edit - Just noticed you're making highly inappropriate and exaggerated accusations. Last week it was alleged racism, and this week it's Europeans attitude towards Americans is equal or worse to that of Nazi's in WW2. You are seriously messed up my friend, seriously. FYI - Nazi Germany does not = "Europe". Europe is a very large continent of nationalities.

Lets not go overboard here. Islam is not a woman-friendly religion at it's core. Admittedly, for the time it was invented (and I use invented from my own view point), it improved womens rights when comparing it to Judaism and Christianity.

But you are incorrect, that Islam is religion that treats the sexes as equals. You should read some Ayaan Hirsi Ali, who is both a woman, and an apostate, and now has to live in fear for her life.

Islam needs an enlightenment movement, to switch the Koran from the unalterable word of god, to some allegorical stories, and metaphorical stories like the bible.

The Abraham religions have all gone through this. Judaism wanted to kill everyone for a while, then Christianity did too. We need some brave Muslim scholars to stand up and denounce this kind of behaviour, and these laws, but we'll just have to wait it out, I'm afraid.
