People voted and didn't give reasons. I was one of them, until I saw your post.
But you're probably right, it's better to only engage people that like the Tories. That way, you, me, and everyone else, can continue to live happily in our own political bubbles, without ever being challenged on it.
But I'll leave this little discussion here, before I raise your ire even further.
